It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy
in creative expression and knowledge. The Department of Mathematics celebrated
Teacher’s Day with zeal and zest on 4th September, 2015. There was an unusual
excitement in the atmosphere which was quite contagious. The students of
undergraduate and postgraduate classes took over the duties of the teachers for
the day. They indicated that, teachers play a vital role in making their pupil
accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings. A special session
was held in which the students paid homage to their teachers through poems and speeches.
There was a special celebration for teachers which included games with many
prizes followed by a grand lunch. The Principal, Dr. Mrs. Madhu Prashar
appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role
in the holistic development of
every student.
